Voxi.fm is an AI-powered audio generation platform that converts text and web articles into natural-sounding audio. It supports multiple languages with different voice profiles, so you can turn any written content into a listening experience.

How do I create my first audio?

Sign up for a free account to get 5 credits. Then paste a URL or enter your text, choose a voice and language, and click generate. Your audio will be ready in a few minutes.

What content formats are supported?

You can generate audio from web URLs (articles, blog posts) or by pasting text directly. When you provide a URL, Voxi.fm automatically extracts the readable content from the page.

Credits & Pricing

How do credits work?

Each credit lets you generate one audio article. Plans include different monthly allowances: Free (5 one-time credits), Basic (10/month), Plus (50/month), and Business (200/month).

What happens when I run out of credits?

You can purchase additional credits in packs of 10 for $10, or upgrade to a higher plan for more monthly credits.

Do unused monthly credits roll over?

No, unused subscription credits do not roll over to the next billing cycle. They reset each month based on your plan.

Do purchased credits expire?

Purchased credit top-ups are valid for 1 year and persist across billing cycles and plan changes. They are separate from your monthly subscription credits.

Can I buy extra credits?

Yes, any logged-in user can purchase additional credits in packs of 10 for $10 as a one-time payment. These are consumed only after your monthly plan credits are used up.

What voices are available?

Voxi.fm offers multiple voice profiles across different languages, including English, Swedish, Japanese, and universal voices that work with any supported language. You can preview voices before generating.

What languages are supported?

Voxi.fm supports multiple languages including English, Swedish, Spanish, German, French, Japanese, and many more. Universal voices can be used with any supported language.

How long does generation take?

Most articles are ready within a few minutes. Longer articles may take a bit more time as they are processed in segments. You can track progress in real time from your library.

Is there a maximum article length?

Yes, there is a maximum article size of 30 KB of text. Very long articles are automatically split into segments and processed in sequence.

Can I edit audio after generation?

You can edit the article text and regenerate the audio with different settings (voice, language, or text changes). On paid plans, you can also customize or remove the Voxi intro.

Embedding & Sharing

How do I embed the audio player on my website?

Each article provides an embed code snippet. Copy the script tag and paste it into your website's HTML. The player loads automatically and works on any site.

Does the embedded player support text highlighting?

Yes, the embed player can highlight the corresponding text as the audio plays, providing a synchronized reading and listening experience. You can also configure a custom content selector to match your page layout.

Account & Billing

How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Visit the pricing page and select a new plan. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period.

What happens to my credits if I change plans?

When upgrading, you receive the new plan's credit allocation minus credits already spent in the current period. Purchased credit top-ups are never affected by plan changes. Downgrades reset to the new plan's allocation at the next billing cycle.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel through the billing portal accessible from the pricing page. Your account will be downgraded to the free plan.
